This National Homelessness
Week, we'll be taking on 122,000 steps to raise funds for the 122,000
Australians currently experiencing homelessness.
The funds we
raised will support Mission Australia, who believes every Australian should
have access to a safe home. Mission Australia offers nationwide wraparound
support services to avoid homelessness for the long-term and ensure more people
can truly thrive.
The Team at Eastern Murrumbidgee Youth Service supports
young people aged 16-25 who are experiencing, or are at risk of, homelessness.
the service provides a range of interventions and supports including case
management, education and employment guidance, supported crisis and
transitional accommodation, housing assistance, information and advice, skills
development, supported referral and access to counselling.
